About the company

Zingaro Travels is a trekking company based in Manali which specialises in "custom-made" treks in North-West India. The company was established in 1994 by Prem Singh Bodh, who has lived all his life in the mountains and has many years of experience in trekking, first as a porter and then as a guide working for Christina Noble, the pioneer of trekking from Manali.

We have gathered a team of highly reliable guides, mostly English-speaking, who will run your trek very efficiently and have the experience to cope well with the unexpected.

The name "Zingaro" means "gypsy" or "wanderer" in Italian.

In addition, our local knowledge enables us to cope with unexpectedly adverse conditions better than outsiders.
